Calls for Interest – Internship at UNCITRAL-RCAP (South Korea)

UNCCA has received recent confirmation that UNCITRAL-RCAP in South Korea is currently receiving applications for interns from October 2019 onwards. Applications are highly recommended.


The relevant invitation from UNCITRAL-RCAP is reproduced below:

Dear Sir/Madam,


The internships at UNCITRAL-RCAP are open for application at the United Nations Careers Portal (Job Opening Number: 117698 / Duty Station: Incheon City, Republic of Korea).

The internship positions are for a minimum duration of two months and a maximum duration of six months, with various starting dates within the period of 1 October 2019 – 31 March 2020.


Applicants for our internship must, at the time of application, meet one of the following requirements:


(a) Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);

(b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent);

(c) Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation.


For the internship advertised, proficiency in oral and written English is required, and knowledge of another United Nations official language, namely Arabic, Chinese or Russian, as well as of regional languages such as Japanese, Korean, or others, would be an advantage.
